Office
of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Chitral University
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hindukushsoft Technologies, Chitral Lower on
August 12, 2025, to enhance mutual collaboration. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
establishes a collaborative framework between the Computer Science Department
at the University of Chitral and HindukushSoft Technologies. The aim is to
provide internship opportunities for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in
Computer Science (BSCS) and an Associate Degree in Computer Science (ADCS).
The MOU was signed by Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah,
the Vice Chancellor of Chitral University, and Mr. Abu Zar Mishwani, the Chief
Executive Officer of Hindukushsoft Technologies Chitral Lower. The signing
ceremony took place at the Vice Chancellor's office. The Vice Chancellor
expressed appreciation for the efforts of Dr. Muhammad Romman, the Additional
Director of ORIC; Mr. Zia ur Rahman, the Manager of Innovation and
Commercialization at ORIC; and Dr. Muhammad Sadiq Khan, the Head of the
Department of Computer Science, for their contributions in expanding
collaboration and enhancing capacity building.
Dr. Muhammad Sadiq Khan, Head of the Department
of Computer Science, will serve as the focal person for this Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU). The occasion was honored by the presence of Dr. Sahib
Khan, Additional Registrar; Dr. Sana Ullah, Controller of Examinations; Dr.
Nizamudin, Additional Director of Academics; Dr. Rizwanullah, Manager of
Research Management at the Office of Research, Innovation, and
Commercialization (ORIC); and Mr. Yasir Arafat, Deputy Director of the Quality
Enhancement Cell (QEC).
