The Department of Political Science, University of Chitral successfully conducted its third Board of Studies meeting today in the university's conference room.
It was an honor to host esteemed subject experts from across the region, including Prof. Dr. Shahida Aman, Chairperson, Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Manzoor Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Political Science, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Dr. Wajid Mehmood, HoD Political Science, FATA University. The meeting was also graced by members from the Degree College for Boys, Girls Degree College Lower Chitral, and the dedicated faculty members of Political Science department, University of Chitral.
The agenda focused on crucial academic enhancements, primarily the revision of Associate Degree, BS, and MPhil in Political Science programs. This revision aligns with the HEC UGE Policy 2023 and the Revised Curriculum 2025.
All the agenda items were vigorously discussed yielding invaluable suggestions and expert feedback that will significantly strengthen the academic programs of the department.
To conclude the successful meeting, Dr. Sajjad Hussain, Head of the Department of Political Science, University of Chitral, paid a heartfelt vote of thanks to all the distinguished experts and members for their invaluable contributions and insightful presence.
