Today, on 22 August 2025, the Department of Management Sciences successfully conducted its 4th Board of Studies meeting under the convenership of Dr. Rizwan Ullah (HOD). Internal members attended physically in the Conference Room, while the external members — Dr. Nazim Ali (Professor, University of Malakand), Dr. Lala Rukh (Assistant Professor, University of Swat), and Dr. Muhammad Wajid Raza (Assistant Professor, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Upper Dir) — participated online and contributed their valuable insights.
The Board discussed and approved five important agenda items, among which the most significant milestone was the approval of the PhD Scheme of Studies in Management Sciences. This makes the Department of Management Sciences the first department of the University of Chitral to achieve approval for a PhD program, marking a historic step toward advanced research and academic excellence.
