The 3rd meeting of the Board of Studies of the Department
of English Language and Literature was held on October 10, 2025, in the Main
Conference Room of the University of Chitral. The meeting was chaired by Dr.
Syed Anwar Ali Shah, Head of the Department.
Faculty members from the University participated in person,
while external members joined the session online. The meeting discussed and
approved several important academic matters, including the study schemes for
the BS (4-Year) and Associate Degree programs. Additionally, the course Fehm-e-Qur’an
was reviewed and approved for inclusion in the BS (4-Year), Associate Degree,
and MPhil English programs.
The session concluded with a note of appreciation for the
valuable input and contributions of all members toward strengthening the
academic standards of the department.
