The Vice Chancellor of the University of Chitral, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, participated in the 6th Rectors and Vice Chancellors Conference, held under the theme “Shaping the Future: Governance, Leadership, and Reforms in Higher Education.”
During his address, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah emphasized the importance of visionary and responsible leadership in higher education institutions (HEIs). He highlighted the 4Cs — Courage, Character, Competence, and Commitment — as essential qualities for leaders committed to driving meaningful change within academia.
He noted that HEIs in Pakistan are facing unprecedented challenges, requiring dynamic, agile, and reform-oriented leadership. Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah stressed the need for comprehensive reforms in governance, academic quality, and institutional management to meet emerging global and national demands
