The University of Chitral signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with the Foundation to Empower Students (FES)
on December 23, 2025, to strengthen collaboration in the
fields of education, research, innovation, and community development.
The MoU aims to create new opportunities for students and
faculty through academic cooperation, skill development, and international
exposure. Under this agreement, FES will provide internship
opportunities to students of the University of Chitral and will also
offer online diploma and certification programs to enhance
students’ professional and digital skills.
A key feature of the MoU is FES’s commitment to support the
establishment and collaboration of a Lincoln Corner at the
University of Chitral in coordination with the American Embassy.
The Lincoln Corner will serve as a hub for academic resources, cultural
exchange, leadership development, and access to educational programs and
scholarships in the United States.
The MoU was formally signed by Vice Chancellor
University of Chitral, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, and Mrs. Samina
Hussain, Program Head of the Foundation to Empower Students (FES). Dr.
Irshad, Additional Registrar of the University of Chitral, was also
present at the signing ceremony.
