Chitral, July 24, 2025 – The 5th meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) for the PSDP project “Establishment of University of Chitral” held today in the office of Vice Chancellor, University of Chitral. The members of the committee participated both physically and virtually. The meeting aimed to review the progress, provide strategic direction and formulate plans for successfully and timely completion of the project. .
Despite the Committee acknowledged the satisfactory progress during the last quarter (April–June 2025), however, expressed serious concerns over the prolonged delays in the project execution over the past three years. Engr. Muhammad Fayaz, Director Works at Quaid-e-Azam University, an external technical expert, shared his valuable insights for addressing the persistent challenges encountered by the project.
The committee members deliberated on key issues affecting project progress and proposed practical solutions, emphasizing the need for coordination and concreted efforts to mitigate the effects of compromised delays in past and ensure timely completion.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to accelerate work, enhance coordination, and successful completion the project not only for the the benefit the University but also Chitral Community in general and promote higher education in particular.
