Chitral, September 3, 2025 — The
Department of Islamic Studies, University of Chitral, organized a
Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ program in connection with the blessed observance of “Ashrah
Rahmat-ul-lil-Alameen ﷺ” and the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. The event was marked with
great religious fervor and devotion.
The program began with the
recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by Hamd Bari Ta’ala and Naat
Sharif presented by students. Dr. Ibad Ur Rehman, Head of the Department of
Islamic Studies, formally welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of
commemorating the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal with love, reverence, and devotion
towards the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The Guest Speaker, Maulana Habib
Ullah from Darul Uloom Shahi Masjid, Chitral, in his keynote address, urged
the students to embrace the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and to adopt his Sunnah
in all aspects of life. He highlighted that true success in this world and the
hereafter lies in following the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He also emphasized the
positive and beneficial use of social media, encouraging the youth to utilize
it for spreading authentic knowledge, promoting Islamic values, and serving
humanity constructively.
The event concluded with closing
remarks from Dr. Nizam Uddeen, Additional Director Academics, followed by a
heartfelt collective Dua led by the Guest Speaker for peace, prosperity, and
the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
The program was attended by faculty
members, students, and distinguished guests in large numbers, reflecting their
deep devotion and enthusiasm.
