The University of Chitral observed a Black
Day against India’s occupation of Kashmir. According to details, the University
of Chitral organized a seminar and rally on 27th October 2023, in support of
Kashmir’s right to self-determination and against India’s oppressive occupation
on Black Day. The event was coordinated by Dr. Kifayat Buneri, Convener, Events
Organizing Committee. Students and faculty of the university participated in
the rally and protested India’s oppressive occupation in Kashmir. During the
rally, the participants praised the Kashmiri people’s struggle for their rights
and called on international human rights organizations to take note of Indian
atrocities in Kashmir and play their full role in stopping it.
