The Vice Chancellor of the University of Chitral, Pakistan, Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Provincial Director Dr Laal Badshah, along with his team, visited the University of Chitral to award scholarships to deserving students across the university.
A special session was arranged in the
university’s main hall to guide and brief the students on the eligibility
criteria and completing application forms.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Laal Badshah
emphasised Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal’s dedication to serving humanity in all fields,
with education being a top priority. He acknowledged the unique challenges
faced by students in remote areas like Chitral and promised that Pakistan Bait
ul Mal will extend maximum support to enable the marginalised students to reach
their educational goals.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr Hazir
Ullah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chitral, highlighted the importance
of financial support for the region's youth. He thanked and extended gratitude
to the management of Pakistan Bait Ul Mal, especially the Managing Director PBM
(Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt) and Provincial Director PBM (Dr Laal
Badshah) for mobilising the team and including more than three hundred students
in the scholarship scheme. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the BM team for guiding
students on how to complete and process the scholarship application. The vice
chancellor reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that students from every part
of Chitral have access to quality education at the university.
