• MPhil Thesis Defense Held on Angela Carter’s Representation of Women

    An MPhil thesis defense was held for Hameed Ur Razzaq, a scholar of the MPhil English program (Session 2023–25), on the research topic “Women’s Objectification in the Selected Short Stories of Angela Carter”.

    The study, supervised by Dr. Kifayatullah, offers an in-depth critical analysis of Angela Carter’s portrayal of women in her short fiction.

    The thesis was evaluated by Dr. Syed Hanif Rasool, Associate Professor and Chairman, Department of English, University of Sawat, who served as the external examiner. He appreciated the scholarly rigor, clarity of argumentation, and effective use of feminist theoretical frameworks. The scholar’s confident defense and engagement with critical perspectives were also acknowledged.

    The successful defense marks a significant academic achievement for Hameed Ur Razzaq and contributes to ongoing research discussions in feminist literary studies.
