• M.Phil Scholars Successfully Defend Theses at the Department of Botany University of Chitral

    Mrs. Saif un Naz Bibi, Mr. Zafar Ullah, and Mrs. Aziza, M.Phil Scholars in the Department of Botany at the University of Chitral, have successfully defended their M.Phil theses on 27 November 2025. Their research work was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Romman, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Botany, University of Chitral.

    The thesis viva examinations were conducted by Prof. Dr. Samin Jan, a distinguished academic and former Chairman of the Department of Botany at Islamia College, Peshawar, who served as the external examiner. His expert evaluation added significant value to the rigorous assessment process.

    Importantly, these scholars are the first-ever M.Phil graduates (Session 2023–2025) from the University of Chitral. Their timely completion of the M.Phil degree marks a major academic milestone for both the Department of Botany and the university at large.
