The Directorate of QEC, University of
Chitral, convened a meeting on 25 November 2025 with the Focal Persons of the
Quality Enhancement Cells (QEC) of its affiliated colleges, chaired by the
Director QEC, Dr. Kifayat Ullah.Focal Persons from various affiliated colleges

In his opening address, Dr. Kifayat Ullah
welcomed all attendees and expressed his sincere appreciation for their
participation. He presented the future roadmap of QEC initiatives and
reaffirmed the University’s commitment to strengthening quality assurance
frameworks across all affiliated institutions.
During the meeting, the Focal Persons
underscored the need for enhanced coordination and requested the arrangement of
QEC-related workshops and training sessions to support improved academic
quality and compliance.
The Assistant Director QEC, Mr. Shah Abdul
Qadir, delivered an extensive briefing on the significance of the
Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Programme Review for Effectiveness and
Enhancement (PREE). He highlighted the vital role these quality assurance tools
play in elevating institutional performance and improving quality scores for
both the University and its affiliated colleges.
In concluding the session, the Director QEC
assured the participants that training programs, workshops, and other QEC
activities will be initiated at the earliest to ensure continuous improvement
and capacity building across partner institutions.
