The Graduate Study Committee (GSC) meeting of the Department of
Islamic Studies, University of Chitral, was held today 03-12-2025 under the
Convenor ship of Dr. Abad ur Rahman, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies. Dr. Aftab Ahmad (Department of Islamic Studies,
University of Sheringal, Dir) participated in the meeting as a Subject
Specialist, while Dr. Muhammad Ayaz (Department of Islamic Studies, The
University of Agriculture, Peshawar) joined the meeting through video link. Similarly, Dr. Faisal Mehmood attended the meeting as
the Internal Member. During the meeting,
MPhil scholars of the Department presented their research synopses before the
Committee. A total of 20 synopses were reviewed and approved unanimously by the
Committee. In his concluding remarks, the
Convener of the Committee, Dr. Abad ur Rahman, appreciated the contributions
and academic input of all members and expressed gratitude to the entire team of
the Department of Islamic Studies for their efforts and cooperation.
