The 3rd meeting of the Graduate Studies Committee (GSC) of the Department of Urdu was convened on December 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room, University of Chitral. The meeting was held under the convenorship of Dr. Muhammad Sahib Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Urdu, University of Chitral.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nadeem Hassan, Assistant Professor, Department of Urdu, University of Chitral; Dr. Wali Muhammad, Department of Urdu, University of Peshawar; and Dr. Raheela, Department of Urdu, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar.
During the session, MPhil research scholars presented their respective research proposals before the committee. Each proposal was thoroughly examined and evaluated in light of the prescribed academic standards, research methodologies, and regulatory frameworks as outlined by the University of Chitral and the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The committee engaged in detailed deliberations, offered constructive feedback and academic guidance, and recorded its observations on each proposal. Following comprehensive discussion, the committee formulated recommendations and forwarded them for further necessary action in accordance with university rules and HEC regulations.
The meeting concluded with a consensus on maintaining high academic and research standards for postgraduate studies in the Department of Urdu.
