The University of Chitral successfully
organized a seminar titled "Skill Development and Economic Uplift"
today, October 24, 2025, in the main hall of the university. The event was held
in compliance with the instructions from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Center of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (KPCVE).
The seminar featured a keynote presentation
by Dr. Mansoor Ullah Baig, senior faculty member of the Department of
Management Science, who extensively discussed the importance of soft and
digital skills for youth self-sufficiency and self-employment.
The event was coordinated by Zahoor ul Haq
Danish, Chief Proctor of the University, and Dr. Saif ul Mujahid shah, HOD
Economics. Students from various departments attended the seminar, gaining
valuable insights into skill development and economic uplift.
