• The Department of Urdu at the University of Chitral organized a two-day national Urdu seminar centered around the theme of "Urdu Research, Issues, and Possibilities."

    The Chief organizer of the event was the Head of the  Urdu Department, Dr. Sahib Khan, and was co-organized by Dr. Nadeem Hassan, Assistant Professor at the Department of Urdu.
    The Chief Guest for this academic gathering was Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah, the esteemed Vice Chancellor of the University of Chitral. The seminar drew participation from eminent professors representing various universities, each contributing valuable insights through presentations on the designated theme.
    Notable contributors included Dr. Altaf Yousufzai, Head of the Department of Urdu at Hazara University, Dr. Antal Zia, Lecturer at the Department of Urdu at the Women University Peshawar, and Dr. Rahila Bibi, Assistant Professor at Women University Peshawar, who actively engaged in the workshop sessions.
    The seminar provided a platform for scholars and researchers to delve into the intricate realms of the Urdu language, addressing pertinent issues, and exploring the vast possibilities for future research.
