The University of Chitral, in collaboration
with the Fatimid Foundation, successfully organized a blood donation camp aimed
at addressing the critical shortage of blood in healthcare facilities. Large
number of students and staff participated in the blood camp, reflecting a
collective commitment to serving the community and saving lives.
The blood donation camp, held on May 8,
2024, was a great example of collaboration in advancing humanitarian causes.
The blood donation camp received an
overwhelming response from the staff and the students of the University of
Chitral. The Additional Registrar of the University Of Chitral Dr. Sahib Khan
visited the blood camp and appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee
and the Fatimid Foundation. He said that this initiative underscores our
dedication to making a difference in the lives of those in need. By donating
blood, we demonstrate our solidarity with patients battling illness and injury,
offering them hope and support in their time of need."
The Fatimid Foundation through their
expertise facilitated the collection and processing of donated blood, ensuring
that it reaches individuals requiring urgent medical care.
Mr Saif Ul Mujahid Assistant Professor in
the Department of Economics extended gratitude to the Fatimid Foundation for
their support and collaboration. He also appreciated the efforts of the Youth
Empowerment Club for organizing the event successfully.
