• Training for Students of University of Chitral on SDGs Under the YoUNGs Initiative for SDGS, Ministry of Planning and Special Initiatives

    Student Ambassadors for YoUNGs Initiative for SDGS from the University of Chitral and Focal Person for the program participating in a 4-day training session which started today. The training is provided by the Ministry of Planning and Special Initiatives, Govt of Pakistan.  YoUNGs (University Network for Sustainable Development Goals) is a network of Students from 140 Universities from across the country.

    Ambassadors nominated by different departments against each goal are participating in the training session representing University of Chitral. It’ll create understanding of the goals and devise actionable and doable plan to meet each goal on the campus and beyond. The training also aims to foster collaboration and networking between universities and students across the country. In the current session 10 student ambassadors from the University of Chitral are participating in the training. The training will conclude on August 13, 2024.

    Before the start of the training, Focal person of the program Mr. Fathul Bari, conducted an introductory session with the student ambassadors and highlighted the importance of the training program for the students and the university. The ambassadors showed great enthusiasm and commitment to participate in the training and their willingness to on campus activities in future.
