We are delighted to announce that Mr. Shah Fahad Ali Khan, a dedicated and vibrant faculty member of the Department of Zoology at the University of Chitral, has successfully defended his PhD dissertation. The defense took place at the Institute of Zoological Sciences, University of Peshawar, under the esteemed supervision of Dr. Muhammad Khisroon, Director of the Institute of Zoological Sciences.
His research, titled "Behavioral Ecology of Sexual Segregation in Kashmir Markhor (Capra falconeri cashmeriensis) in Chitral Gol National Park," delves into critical ecological aspects of this endangered species, contributing significantly to the understanding of its behavioral patterns and conservation needs.
The examination committee included two distinguished external examiners: Dr. Gauhar Rehman, Professor at Abdul Wali Khan University, and Dr. Ghulam Dastagir, Professor at the University of Peshawar.
