The University of Chitral celebrated International Women day with the theme of “Balance for Better”.The event was organized by Creative Art society and Social welfare society of the University of Chitral. Chief Guest on the occasion was Mrs.Sultana (Principal AKHSS Kuragh). She said that Islam teaches us the lesson of equality. Both male and female are equal in the eyes of Allah. The event was also attended by Miss Nusrat Jabeen (Commissioner Girls guide), Rahila Kanwal Advocate, Miss Syed Gul ( in charge Museum Chitral) and Farida Sultana.
Project Director University of Chitral Prof. Dr.Badshah Munir Bukhari was also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion he stressed on girls education. He said that women play an important role in society. They are the agent of change in society.
Souvenirs were distributed among the guests. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the Project Director University of Chitral.
