The Directorate of Research, Innovation & Commercialization organized a seminar entitled “Forest types, management and Importance in Hindu Kush Himalayas” on 15th September 2022.
The seminar was chaired by Dr. Muhammad Romman, Deputy Director ORIC/ Focal Person GYM Club, University of Chitral. The resource person for the seminar was Dr. Adnan Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Department of Forestry, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal, Dir Upper.
Dr. Habib Ullah Nawab, (Convener Oversight Committee (OC), Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, University of Chitral), Ms. Nahida Noor, (Member Oversight Committee (OC), Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, University of Chitral), Dr. Ishfaq Hameed, (HOD, Department of Botany, University of Chitral) and Mr. Fathul Bari, (Lecturer, Department of Zoology, University of Chitral) graced the occasion. Members of the GYM Club were also present at the event.
The seminar was concluded with a healthy Question, Answer session by students and faculty members of the Department of Botany and Department of Zoology, and Certificates were distributed by Dr. Adnan Ahmad to the participating students. Chitrali Cap and Shield were presented to the resource person.
