Greetings from the Department of English Language & Literature, University of Chitral!
Established in 2011, the Department of English Language & Literature stands as a vibrant center of learning in the northern region of Pakistan. Despite being situated in a remote area with limited access to certain facilities in this digital age, the department remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
Blending the richness of traditional literary scholarship with the possibilities of modern digital tools, we strive to cultivate thoughtful engagement with literature, research, and ideas. Our aim is to inspire students not only to appreciate the power of language and literature but also to participate meaningfully in the wider intellectual and cultural world.
